Cobbler Days

This is our first "Dutch Oven Peach Cobbler Get-Together" of the summer. We usually end up making it a couple of times a summer for our friends and neighbors. We always love having everyone over and it's kind of a rush to see if, after all those hours of cooking, the cobbler turned out. However, we're getting better everytime... and the cobbler tastes better each time!

This is Gage and his friend Jorden Campbell playing our new game of "Corntoss" (Otherwise known as "Cornhole". We changed the name for obvious reasons)! Our neighbors have had this game at the last few BBQ's and Jake decided to make his own. So, he got on the the "American Cornhole Association's" website and looked up all the regulations on the size and shape of the platform and beanbags...and made our own set. It's been really fun to have around. We are considering making them to sell. Jake had a fun time making the platforms and I've had fun figuring out the best way to make the corn bags. Plus, it's a game for the young and old! (nope, didn't mean to make that sound like an advertisement!)
